Heart of the Cards is a card game for 2-4 players where cards are arranged in the shape of a heart.
Each player takes turns to pick up cards until only the central card - the Heart Card - remains. The text on the Heart Card determines which player wins.

Rules

- Shuffle and arrange the cards in the shape of a heart, placing a Heart Card in the middle, one Wildcard for each player, and Point Cards filling in the remaining spaces.
- Roll a die to see who goes first.
- Take it in turns to pick up a Point Card or a Wildcard. Each player may only have one Wildcard in their hand.
- Once all cards except the Heart Card are picked up, each player plays their Wildcard.
- Once all Wildcards are played, flip the Heart Card over. The Condition on the card determines the winner.
- If two or more players have tied, follow the Tie Break instructions on the Heart Card to determine the winner.
No Wildcards Format
The game can be played without Wildcards.When arranging the cards on the table, substitute Wildcards with Point Cards.
Play then continues as normal - picking up Point Cards, and flipping the Heart Card when no Point Cards remain on the table.
When using regular playing cards, Queens become Heart Cards, Kings and Jacks
become Wildcards and Aces and Numbers become Point Cards.
When arranging the cards on the table, substitute King and Jacks with Aces and Numbers.

- King of Diamonds: Double your lowest positive Points card
- King of Clubs: Turn one positive Points card in your hand to a negative
- Jack of Hearts: Discard 1 card of your choice from your hand
- Jack of Spades: Discard all positive Points from your hand
- Jack of Diamonds: Discard all negative Points from your hand
- Jack of Clubs: Discard 1 random card from your hand
- Once all Kings and Jacks are played, flip the Queen over. The Condition on the card determines
the winner.
- Queen of Hearts: Highest Points wins
- Queen of Spades: Lowest Points wins
- Queen of Diamonds: all negative Points become positive; highest Points wins
- Queen of Clubs: all positive Points become negative; lowest Points wins
